As customer care manager, a question we at Rinse Ace® sometimes get is why are the hoses and sprayers plastic and not metal when I order the Metal Shower Connector?
Having a metal hose would be much less flexible in using and would add a lot of weight. The same is true for the sprayers.
Especially when assisting someone with bathing, washing a baby or toddler, you need to be able to maneuver easily and be able to focus on the person or child without having to fight with a stiff hose and a heavy sprayer. This is also why we make our sprayers small, a bulky large sprayer is difficult to handle. Elderly or injured people may not have the strength to hold on to a heavy sprayer as well.
The risk of damage to the tub or shower is also larger with a heavy large spray head and hose. If you accidentally let the sprayer slip from your hands, the Rinse Ace sprayer is much less likely to damage the tub or shower on impact.
